After watching a movie at Greenhills, I have this scheduled meeting with a seller. I bought a pre-loved Sony Ericsson m600i.

Specifications of the Sony Ericsson M600i
Sony Ericsson M600i review - by AFP
***Why this purchase was a mistake…
Since this is a pre-loved (pre-owned, second hand) phone, You can’t expect it to be ike brand new. Yes, I anticipated slight scratches and minor phone casing defects (nicks, bumps etc) but, it was my bad I didn’t check it well. There was something wrong with the lower right touch screen sensitive part. (Which, I already had it fixed now.).
Another thing, this morning, when I was browsing Ebay, I saw a cheaper SE M600i, almost same price as mine, but, complete!!! I bought mine not including a SE m2 1gb memory stick and headset. That unit has!
Anyway, PATIENCE is a virtue.
Overall, I am still happy with the phone because I can’t do anything about it. I am an optimistic person. Also, I sold one of my Oakley Juliet’s last night.
*Happy*

Superb sound quality while redefining conventional speaker aesthetics. The Minipod loudspeaker follows an organic design, where “form follows function”. Each characteristic of the design has a precise acoustical justification. The Minipod is essentially an amalgamation of three spheres to form one pressure-vessel, minimizing cabinet vibration, sound radiation and distortion, allowing sound waves to move more freely.

SAN FRANCISCO — Gamemakers Hasbro and Mattel threatened Wednesday to try to shut down “Scrabulous,” an unauthorized online version of its Scrabble word game that has become a Facebook sensation.
Brothers Rajat and Jayant Agarwalla say they launched Scrabulous.com in 2005 “after we saw a lack of free user-friendly websites for playing Scrabble.”
The software developing duo based in the city of Kolkata in India made an “add-on” application to play Scrabulous on Facebook, where it is all the rage with members of the hot social networking website.
Scrabulous is among the top 10 programs added to Facebook user profile pages. It is estimated that more than a half-million people play it daily.
But toy and game manufacturers Hasbro and Mattel, which share ownership of the Scrabble trademark, and are demanding that Facebook remove the renegade online version of its game from the website.
================
After this “publicity” Scrabulous users grew in noticable quantities. Thanks to its free promotion by the GAMEMAKERS,
Hasbro and Mattel.
I haven’t played “Scrabulous” but, after reading that article, I went straight to facebook, found the “Illegal” application and added it to my facebook add ons. I am sure, many people did that to.
I am a Fan of Monopoly, the same game makers. I just hope that they work something out.

Its scary when one of the biggest search engine and one of the most famous websites in the world cant even give you privacy and protection despite having compiled a privacy policy in the interest of their business.
I have read their privacy policy but, for me, this is not right. China, a country where freedom of speech is not encouraged, has been the same since eons ago. In this information age, it is easy to disseminate information anonymously and, ye-gads, its not anonyous after all. so all the people living in that country, be aware and careful. I am not against China’s policies. Its just that, they should know that in this age, it is not possible to safegaurd anything anymore.

Top Yahoo officials at a US congressional hearing Tuesday nodded in silent apology to the mother of a Chinese journalist, who was jailed after the Internet giant provided information to Beijing police.
The gesture at a fully-packed hearing came after the House of Representatives’ Committee on Foreign Affairs sharply rebuked Yahoo for not providing full information in a congressional probe into the American company’s role in landing Chinese journalist Shi Tao behind bars.
He was convicted in 2005 of divulging state secrets after he posted a Chinese government order forbidding media organizations from marking the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square uprising on the Internet.
Police identified him using information provided by Yahoo. He was sentenced to 10 years in jail.
The US corporation defends its action on the grounds that it has to comply with China’s laws to operate there.
But Tom Lantos, the foreign affairs committee chairman, said, “I do not believe America’s best and brightest companies should be playing integral roles in China’s notorious and brutal political repression apparatus.”
Lantos then asked Yahoo chief executive officer Jerry Yang and the company’s executive vice president and general counsel, Michael Callahan, to “beg the forgiveness” of Shi Tao’s mother, “whose son is languishing behind bars due to Yahoo’s actions.”

Des Gregor, 56, traveled to the landlocked African nation last month to meet his supposed bride, Natacha, whom he had met on the Internet, and collect a dowry of gold bars worth 100,000 Australian dollars (US$85,000; €62,270).
But when he arrived, the wheat and sheep farmer was kidnapped by a gang of armed bandits who bound him, beat him with a machete and stole his cash and credit cards.
Gregor, who returned to his home state of South Australia with a police escort late Sunday, said the men told him they would hack his limbs off with a machete unless he paid them a A$100,000 ransom.
The scam was stopped when Australian and Malian police, alerted by Gregor’s family in Australia, tricked the kidnappers into taking Gregor to the Canadian Embassy to collect the ransom money.
Speaking to reporters at the Adelaide airport, Gregor said he was met at the airport by a well-dressed man, and had no indication that anything was amiss until he was led into a room where two men with a machete and a homemade pistol began demanding money.
”It’s hard to explain what I thought,” he said. ”I basically was wondering what the hell was going on and then they started demanding money - then I knew things were serious.”
Gregor said he had learned his lesson and urged others to be careful when looking for love on the Net.
”I reckon another couple of days and I wouldn’t have returned,” he said. ”Just be careful - make sure you check everything out 100 percent.” - AP
