Now, hating all the CD’s in my car with uh, an I don’t know, 6-disc ghetto cd changer, I am now looking forward for a MP3 library in my ride.
Anyway, I am having trouble deciding on what to buy.
Should I get this pretty attractive newly released iPod Nano 4th gen chromatic?

or an iPod touch because of the convenience of watching in a bigger screen with Wi-Fi?

or an iPhone -complete package with videos/mp3s/ phone in one?

You may ask me, what do I really need. Here is the Scenario. I have the following portable gadgets right now:
Sony Ericsson P990i (personal use) and Sony Ericsson P910i (internet browsing)
![]()
Sony Ericsson M600i (collecting dust in the cabinet)

iPod Mini green 4gb(Not mine, borrowed from someone who doesn’t use it anymore)

and a Nokia 6300 (for business use)

I cannot sell all of those except for the Sony Ericsson M600i. The others was either given to me or subsidized (I paid a percentage. something like 50/50)
Now, the ulitmate question still remains unanswered. What gadget do you recommend for me to buy? This will be my first Apple product purchase if ever.
a Filipino businessman and politician, currently the President of the Senate — the third highest ranking official of the Philippines. Also, a self-made billionaire of Vista Land.
GADGETS
He uses an iPhone for it’s touch screen and big memory. Although he has an iPod touch, he also uses his iPhone for his favorite songs. 2 birds in one gadget kind of thing. keep in touch and unwind.

Since his iPhone get flooded with calls, he also has an iPod touch and an apple laptop to store important files. He said that he always upgrades gadgets to make sure he has the most efficient one.
He also carries around a Sony Digital Camera.

A tad overrated but the phenomena this device has created and will continue to create come 2008, no mobile phone in history will ever claim the same.

Shockproof. Waterproof. Freezeproof. If these features don’t convince you to buy this Olympus model then we don’t know what will.

We love the multicore technology—All that power, all that speed. This is absolutely the best time to buy a computer—With Intel inside, of course.

If BMW is the ultimate driving machine, then the Nokia N95 is probably the ultimate mobile phone. The new 8GB version made it even better.

Reaching the one-terabyte (1,000 gigabytes) hard disk space in a single drive is purely a psychological breakthrough. We’ve been expecting it and Hitachi did it first in early 2007.

Enthusiasts willing to pay 8,800 yuan ($1,170) can buy the iPhone at electronics markets in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, the computer and electronics newspaper Dian Nao Bao reported in its Monday editions.
In the United States, the combination cell phone-iPod media player can be had for as little as $499. The Chinese version can make calls and send text messages, but it can’t receive calls. The voicemail function also doesn’t work.
Apple is currently selling the iPhone only in the United States, where it’s restricted to AT&T Inc.’s cellular network. Last month, hackers were successful in unlocking the device so that it could be used on other carriers.
Apple spokesman Natalie Kerris said Tuesday the company was not aware of specific reports of its phones being sold in China but said the sales were not authorized.
“We said we would launch the iPhone in Asia in 2008,” she said. “This is not that launch.”

With all the news of iPhone-inspired mobile phones, I thought I’d put together a list of the five most notable iPhone clones:
See these iPhone competitors reviewed after the jump…
Meizu miniOne
Meizu’s miniOne, formerly known as the M8, will sport:
The miniOne seems like a suitable iPhone alternative for the Windows-inclined who can live without a rotating display and Visual Voicemail.
It will likely be more affordable than the iPhone, too. And lucky for you the miniOne looks a lot like the iPhone, so you may be able to fool your friends into thinking you own one.

Read more about the Meizu miniOne (and see more photos) in my previous posts:
Teclast T59
The Teclast T59 is another aesthetically-appealing iPhone clone. Since the T59 is only in its concept stages, a lot could change still, but here are some of the specs for this 3G mobile phone:
The T59’s got a sleek black finish with a chrome lining like the iPhone’s. Here are two concept photos:

LG’s Prada KE850, designed in tandem with the fashion designer, was announced last year and will debut in Europe later this month for a whopping 600 Euros (almost $800 USD). It will feature:
Sorry LG, but for $800 big ones I’d rather get an iPhone and a half.

ASUS Aura
The ASUS Aura is, to me, the least visually attractive of the iPhone clones, though it’s got the largest touchscreen at 3.9 inches as well as a rotating display like the iPhone’s. Other features include:

iSoftPhone
This iPhone lookalike is not a physical mobile phone but a Mac OS X desktop application that functions as a user interface for VoIP phones.
Even the iSoftPhone website
is a knockoff of Apple’s. They’re gonna have some real problems getting this past Apple’s legal team.
